"World Peace" on Conan O'Brien Show

The comedian/talk show host Conan O'Brien was on the topic of the Metta World Peace elbow to James Harden's head during a couple of his shows. MWP was actually scheduled to make an appearance on Conan's show prior to the debacle but chose to reschedule due to the events that transpired.

Conan wasn't about to let MWP off the hook so easily. Since World Peace backed out, he brought in a Lakers fan (Simon Helberg) that was at the game to talk a little bit about what he saw and the overall atmosphere of the Staples Center during the game. Here's a clip of the show...

In the Lakers fans' defense, they probably did not know how serious the blow to James Harden's head was. But they probably should feel a little bit embarrassed for chanting "World Peace" as Metta was ejected from the game. I resent Lakers fans just from a competitive standpoint, but I know that they have a little more class than what they were showing during that game.

It's obvious that even Lakers fans now know that the elbow was not unintentional. Like Mr. Hedberg said, I do not believe for one second that Metta was simply celebrating a dunk.

Conan was able to bring in Metta World Peace on his show. During, Metta revealed that he has yet to make contace with James Harden and apologize or anything of that nature. Take a look..

Thug Life
I've never had so much animosity towards a player like I do for Metta World Peace. I do not understand how a simple apology could lessen the competitive nature of any future games between Harden and World Peace. It's simply a matter of respect that World Peace is lacking. If I'm David Stern, I would lengthen the suspension for this thug. What kind of message is he sending to the younger viewers of the NBA? Is sportsmanship no longer a part of the league? This isn't the first time that this guy has made a mockery of the NBA. For those who haven't seen the riot in Auburn Hills, here's a clip..

Do we really want a classless player like this in the league? The NBA is showing way too much leniancy. Not only is he a threat to other players, but he is also a threat to fans. He should not be tolerated any longer. Metta World Peace = THUG
